My blogger is feeling neglected. No time lately. *sigh* Happy Birthday wishes to all you January babies. There's a shitload of you, so I'm not gonna name y'all. Lab reports, midterms, homeworks, and reading up the ying yang, I have my work cut out for me. Still, all work and no play makes Ronnel a dull boy, so I get mines. Jarrod's bday celebration last nite, Rho fam dinner tonight, and On Broadway tomorrow night. Daytime is spent studying and etc. God help me. I gotta get through this....

HOLY SHIT, this week had bits of the good, bad, and the ugly. 9 more weeks like this? WHY THE HELL NOT!?!? Bring it on!!!
Crazy how I tend to neglect my blogger when I have school to deal with. I'm sorry dear blogger! I DO love you though. I have lots to fill in if I really want to get the nitty gritty of the week documented, but I'm too tired to do that right now. Hmmm, each day in a few words will have to do, I guess. Monday, first day, long, 10am-8pm, spent the night at home home. Tuesday, ate at Kobe Shogun with family, studied lots, ate udon with family, worked out. Wednesday, not as long, but still long, 10am-5pm, MASA meeting, drank with roomies, MaeMae and Walterliscious(and others! You know who you are!). Thursday, brought mom flowers, HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY mom! Ate lunch with mom and coworkers, worked out with Margie, PB Bar and Grill that night, along with everyone and their moms. Friday, class again 10am-5pm, flame broilers(after weeks without it), then Aubergine's downtown with the bruthas(full force! welcome back Anthony!). Saturday, Reesa's bday party, football playoff games, Bud Lights, Texas Hold 'Em, and E Street Alley downtown again with the bruthas. FUCK THOSE FUCKERS WHO HAVE NO DANCE ETIQUETTE! Sunday, church without the fam(cuz I beat them home the previous night, and they were still passed out, but I had to lector for mass), lunch with Auntie Lulu, Uncle Andy, Rain, Reesa, and Rhena at our fav place Kanpai, bought lunch for fam, worked out, Phi Class Activation, Pizza at Ading's, Moulin Rouge, study action. My week, in a nutshell....

First and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I can't believe how quickly time flies. It's already 2004 for chrissake! This is my GRADUATION year! From College! Ahhh! :-p Anyways, I really wanna talk about what happened in the past few days. So much, maybe even too much to some extent, in such a little time span. So, as they did in the movie I just saw, Big Fish, I'm just gonna "tell it how it is."

The day of New Year's Eve went precisely how the day part of it was planned. Woke up at the crack of dawn and took lola to dialysis. Slept during the procedure. Picked her up and ate a quick lunch. Then the fun began. Around 11am my auntie Menchu and I began what was to be the start of hours upon hours of cleaning and organizing the house for the party. I swear, I have never done so much cleaning in such a short time span in my life! Basically, we had the house spotless inside and out by the end of the day. Some of the duties I can recall slaving over included cleaning the patio and garage, washing and scrubbing every one of those stupid white plastic chairs (you know the ones you tend to see at parties), hosing down the whole side of the house (we have a huge ass carport there), washing all the long party tables, and when my mom came home, doing everything she asked of me. Basically, she was Santa, and my aunt and I were her reindeer, hehe. With all the party preparations done and over with, I was pretty damn exhausted already, but hey, after partying last year at Together As One, New Year's Eve has totally redefined itself in my book!

So I had plans to go out on the eve, but where exactly was not for sure until the afternoon of. I was either gonna go with brutha Mark to a house party somewhere, or party it up with Rainier and his friends somewhere undefined. I ended up with Rain, since we booked a hotel room at the Westin downtown and clubbed the night away at Red Circle cafe! Dude, I felt so damn Bourjois that night! We were all pimped out, had this $260 room, and lots of alcohol! We checked in around 8pm, and drinked ourselves silly at the room. The new crew for me included Rainier, his girl Faye Faye, and homie Rex NAVARette! In our arsenal bag was a bottle of Goldschlager, Absolut Vodka, two fifths of Southern Comfort, Hpnotiq, Red Bull, and some Mountain Dew. Curious about the happenings? Just lemme know if you really are, cuz I have footage. =) Anyways, we stroll to the club around 10ish, pretty drunk already. The line for Red Circle wasn't too bad. We seriously just wanted to hop the fence though! Oh well. I think cover was only $25. I honestly don't remember. Keke. Inside, we party the night away. Drinking, dancing, hitting on girls, smoking, craziness. I can't believe I saw people I know! I ran into APhiO heads, people from church, and people from my past! I remember shakin' it for my APO peeps, hehe. I also remember getting girls to buy me drinks, since I was dancing and shaking my ass for them! Also, there was some guy who looked like Vin Diesel who bought our group drinks. I think the reason was something in the likes of how he liked Filipinos. Oh well, whatevers! As long as your buying! Anyhoo, the only drinks I bought was for Aide and Cynthia, a Malibu and Red Bull, which was pretty damn tasty. When they kicked us out of the club, the afterparty was in our hotel room! We had mad heads roll with us to party. It was crazy! This part gets pretty choppy in my memory. There was more drinking, more new people, Japanese speaking, peeing in the streets, jumping in the elevator, drinking more drinks, LOTR: The Twin Towers, people from the room next door, more people, more alcohol, belligerence and drunkeness. OMG. It's hard to seperate fact from fiction! All I know is, I had to take a shot by myself for Rainier, and I was the last one to pass out after everyone left. I was also the first to wake up. I woke up around 9am, got dressed?, took off my contacts, yakked an insignificant amount of clear alcohol?, and called my parents to pick me up so I could "help" for more party preps. My friends were still knocked out cold anyways. Anyways, much help I was. I was feeling the after effects of the alcohol. Sure, I didn't have a headache, but my stomach was unsettled and sudden movements were not very trendy for someone in my predicament. I sat for the better part of the morning. Then the party starts.

People started to arrive around 1pm. There was so much food. It was unbelievable. There was so much alcohol. It was unbelievable. Sucks I wasn't even ready to eat or drink any of it until later in the day. The party was off the hook! Family came. My mom's coworkers, the priest from our church, our neighbors, friends of the family, my friends. It was awesome. I played bartender. I was mixing drinks all day. Once word got out that I made good drinks, drinks that masked the taste of alcohol, the drink orders started pouring in (no pun intended, hehe). My choice drinks to make that day included Cranberry Apple rum runners, Midori Sprites, Long Island Iced Teas, and Kappucino Mudslides! Once they started gambling, the alcohol got passed around even more. I can't believe at the end of the night, only one 12 pack of Corona was left. My friends finally arrive around 9pm, discounting brutha Mark who was there pretty much all day. Then the serious drinking began. What blows my mind is what happened next. My very own DAD comes to drink with us! He pounds a couple of sake bombs. What REALLY blows my mind is what happened after that. My very own DAD calls me a rookie, and ses I don't really know him. So I call him out on a shot. You know what he does, he DOUBLES the trouble and ses we're gonna take two! So, a moment that i'm both proud of, and mad at(for being called out in my own territory), my daddy and I double fist two shots of Barcardi and pound that shit! Wow. Wowwy wow wow. I am speechless....

Spent the whole day today doing what I did two days ago: clean. The house is absolutly perfect. It was cleaner than it was before the party. I'm sick of cleaning. We were well rewarded by my mom with a dinner to Kobe Shogun. Like the cleanliness of the house, the meal (and large Kirin) was super satisfactory. This is my 8th straight night of drinking some form of alochol beverage. Wow, I'm turning into an Alky! Oh no!

Just came back with Janet and Vinh from watching Big Fish. I am now so ready to pass out. I'm sure I've missed a lot of details, maybe because some I simply don't remember, but I'm happy I got the jist of it down. Good night people, I'll revise and edit later. =)
