Hey there party people!!! I'm in Canada right now at an internet cafe in downtown Toronto!!! WOOHOO!!! We're about to check out the night life and hit up a club. Yesterday, we hit up Niagara Falls. It was SO beautiful. Also, I "withdrew" from the loca casino: CASINO NIAGARA. I swear, two minutes inside, and I win $400!!! Canadian dollars, but FOUR HUNDRED none the less. The following two minutes, I win 50 more on the same machine!!! I lose a hundred at blackjack, but its ok, I had fun and made a lot of money. ;-) We ate at Planet Hollywood Niagara afterwards. I'm lovin' the 19 legal age here!!! I get to drink, and if you know me..... *wink wink*

In regards to World Youth Day (WYD), it's been completely mind blowing. Over 170 countries represented. People everywhere we go, so friendly and fired up about our Catholic faith. We saw the pope today, as we welcomed him in his papal welcoming at Exhibition Place here in Toronto. It was like a RAVE MASSIVE but 8 BILLION times larger!!! A super E-PUDDLE, but the E stands for Eclestial!!! :-p Well, I gotta go since I'm running out of time from my interenet service. I'll catch everyone when I get a chance. If anything at all, send me a text message on my phone. It's my only means of communication.

Well, I'm off to Canada for a week!!! I'll be back next Monday the 29th. I hope no one misses me. Pray that we have a safe trip there and back. Catch y'all on the flip side! (^_^) \\//

It's been a normal week. Got a lot of errands done on Friday, and also got the scratch pad on my car fixed. Friday night was cool. We all went to TJ as kind of a last thing with the roomies. It was also a few of Margie's friend's birthdays, so we were out to celebrated. It was a super duper fun night. Kinda in a hurry, so I can log in much blogging. Got to go to our church's send-off mass for us at 5. We leave for Canada on Monday and will be gone until the 29th. I'm so excited, yet, so unprepared. I haven't even started to pack yet. Oh well. I'll get it done sometime........

Oh, I just remembered!!! Rhena was hella mad at Anthony for purchasing the "Jungle Green" artwork painting!!! She said she really liked it too(yeah, we ALL liked it) and she was saving her money to buy it! Too bad Anthony got to it first, hehehe.
FRIDAY
Had lunch with my mom, auntie "piggy," and Matt at Horton Plaza. I had Great Khan's and loaded my plate with so much chicken and beef, since you get to put as much or as little as you want. Chilled at Matt's place for the most part, after applying for an on campus job Matt, at the Gilman parking structure. Planned out our day for Saturday at Matt's while he did homework and took a nap. I fell asleep too while watching simpsons and friends. Went to get dinner at UTC again. I went the previous night also. I finally bought one of those sleeveless muscle shirts Matt and I had our eyes on. It looks pretty decent on me. I thought I'd look hella scrawny in it(which I still think I do), but the comments from family and friends says its okay. Went to Jeff's 21st B-day party @ La Jolla TGIF's. That was dope! We packed the place with over 60 people! We got Jeff a huge bottle of Smirnoff Ice!!! I had Dulce de Leche dessert and a smoothie, since I was full from dinner. Afterwards, I went with Joe, Ryo, and Joe's friend from Pasadena/La Canada Scott, and Scott's older brother David to Sycuan. We all lost. I lost a considerable amount. That was not cool. Didn't sleep that well....

SATURDAY
Woke up and checked out a lot of 1 bedroom/1 bathroom places or studios with Matt, around the Clairemont and Pacific Beach Area. There were a couple that we really like and would consider. This is just our back up in case we our other housing plans fall through. Had lunch at a place I've wanted to eat at for a long time: Broken Yolk Cafe. It was pretty good, and i'd come back. Funny thing is Matt also really wanted to go here, so he forced me and paid for me. Hehe, I'm not complaining. Finished looking at places then worked out again real quick before I drove home. Matt basicaly dragged me to the gym, saying we HAD to go. Got home and went Price Club, err, Costco shopping with my mommy and bought so much stuff, most importantly, a case of Red Bull for my trip to Canada! I'm so excited, July 22nd is approaching SO fast(that's when we leave). Had dinner at Japanese restaurant Hanaoka on Sweetwater Rd in National City, then just chilled at home home(parent's house) and watch MTV's Undressed all night.

TODAY
Went to Church, then ate at Royal Mandarin. It was seriously some good grub! Chicken, calamari, honey walnut shrimp, fried rice, mongolian beef, ocean velvet(seafood mix w/ egg whites), beef sezchuan, some fish, and some vegetables. I friggin' ate SOOOOO much. My appetite has been really big lately. The more I go to the gym, the more I eat. Kinda weird. Afterwards, we went to the Navy Exchange w/ my fam, Auntie Piggy(Olive) and Uncle Orly, and Anthony. Ant and I had plans to buy just a money belt thingy for Canada, but we ended up getting more stuff! I bought two pairs of shorts, two shirts(one sleeveless, my 2nd one! woohoo!), and a whole lotta stuff for Canada, travel size stuff, hee hee. Then, we went to the University, AKA Viejas casino!!! I won a whole lot in the beginning, bought everyone dinner and stuff, but ended up losing the majority of what I made back during the night gambling session. Oh man...... It's okay, I made up for it by borrowing and friend's memebership card and working out at 24hr fitness here in our neighborhood! I feel good again. I can go to sleep in peace...

SUNDAY
Sleep ALL DAY. At night, we pick up relatives who were apparently in town from GUAM, my birthplace! I get to talking to a couple of my cousins, one my age and one 23. We had loads in common. That night, I end up taking them to TJ!!! We hit up a strip club. They were relieved to do something OTHER than the family thing. We had fun.....

MONDAY
I call out from work and go with my relatives, along with my dad, to SEAWORLD. It was cool, lotsa new stuff I haven't seen before. I'm glad I went.

TUESDAY
I talk to my TA for my summer class. After a long talk, I decide it best to drop the class. I sell my books and mosy on home! It's only because I'll be missing a good 2-3 lectures before the final, on top of the fact that I would have to turn in my paper early because I'll be gone the week that it's due. Oh well, MMW 5 would have to be postponed to a later date. I guess I'm on extended vacation!

WEDNESDAY
Went to work out with Matt. Played some Ping Pong. Looked at a condo afterwards. Played some more ping pong. Went to the World Youth Day (WYD) send off mass with Bishop Brom presiding. Everyone from San Diego county who's going to WYD from July 22-29 was there. Ate out with my group from my church and our families at Golden City restaurant in Clairemont afterwards. AKA after 9, we get our grub on! Since all the food is half off after 9PM. Our table alone seated 10, plus two other tables with our parents at it. Our bill only came out to $53, and we ordered a LOT of food. Got boba at this new place called Sipz, since my ate Rhena works there. It was pretty good. We met the owner Silvia and she was really friendly. Anthony ended up buying a piece of artwork displayed in the shop called "Jungle Green" for $75, painted by a local artist. It was really cool tho! I'm jealous that he has it now......

TODAY
Just gonna work out again, nothing really planned or set in stone. Fun, fun, fun......

I'm such in a good mood right now, so I HAVE to blog, no matter how tired I am(and believe you me, I'm pilt as Jesus after draggin' his beam of wood before being crucified, well, not THAT pilt, but you get the picture :-p). I bet you can make me or ask anything of me right NOW, cuz I'm such in a good mood!

This past 4th of July weekend was nothing special during the holiday itself. Just spent some time at my parents house and with the family. It was nice to enjoy my family's company again, sa pagkain(eating with them) at sa pag lakad(going out with them). I miss how everything is "free," in a sense, since I'm not the one paying for my meals or gambling off my own money at the casinos. It was good for me to spend a few days at home. Besides, they all miss me anyways and I admit I do miss them.

I just spent Friday riding around town getting my car serviced. That night, my dad and I worked on the engine, saving ourselves the cost of a tune-up. I cleaned and re-oiled my K&N(performance brand) air filter while he changed the spark plugs w/ new ones that I bought. It took us about an hour only. Afterwards, I went with my brothers Mark and Anthony to a homie's house party, chilled and drank a bit. They had a hooka, so I just had to take a few hits, just to taste!

Now last night, technically, and this morning was off the heezy! We were suppose to go to this rave called "Freedom Festival," the make up rave for our previously cancelled rave "How Sweet It Is" that was suppose to happen(but didn't) back in march. And as luck would have it, this one gets cancelled too. I don't know anymore, I've lost all faith in B3 Cande Productions, they're not doing there job as promoters to secure a venue for their raves! AHHHHHHHH!!!! So, feenin' so much for the music and the NEED to dance to it, we buy tickets to a rave that is really gonna happen, for the same night, last night. Called "Super Sonic," it was well worth the $22 we spent on a ticket. The venue was clean, new, had nice bathrooms(yes, that's important!), good music/DJ's, and overall, worth it for the price we paid. Stealing Jeff Green's rating system, this rave gets 8.5 out of 10 boba balls. (^_^) \\// And damn, there was this girl who was the best fuckin' dancer I've seen in a while. Groovin' like it ain't no thang to DRUM N' BASS. OMG. I dunno about anyone else(and I don't care) but WHAT A TURN ON!!! And smilin' the WHOLE TIME, cute as can be!!! Kinda makes me wanna _________. Uhhh, you fill in the blank. I know what REALLY goes there anyways ;-) So yeah, the night ends well with a traditional trip to Gas station and grub at Jack in the Box. We stopped by the locations in Anaheim, since it was on the way(and it was the only ones I knew!). Easy drive home, but now, I'm exhausted, and I think my brothers are knocked out downstairs. I guess I'll join them now, and dream about cute girls who have nice smiles and dance well. *chuckles to himself, and covers mouth with hands like a Japanese school girl* Good night!

Nothing too interesting really happened recently. Yay, summer school started today. The professor seems nice. Its cool how we only have to do a four page essay. I'm really happy about that. Also, we don't have much reading. Sadly enough, I still fell asleep during the first lecture today. Good thing it only lasted half the time and he let us out really early.

I've been thinking too much lately, about a lot of things. There's this girl I like, there's summer school, there's no more working at quickly, there's just THOUGHTS. Aiya....... I figure, why not just let go, and let things happen the way they're going to, cuz no matter what, they're gonna happen. We'll see, I just hope everything turns out for the better. But in my honest thoughts, I'm not gonna do much with the girl, because she's taken. I'm probably not gonna do as well in summer school as I should. I'm gonna miss working at Quickly during the night. I'm gonna be hella broke and dependent on my parents again. But then again, this is the first signs of spoiling I've ever gotten from my parents, who are now willing to pay the rent and all attached expenses. Hmmmmm, this could be the start of a new beautiful, or not so beautiful life.

20020701

These past few days have been craysee! I guess I'll just have to go day by day......

THURSDAY
I found out why my mom was trippin' on me, but that was easily resolved with a whimpering dog's apology.^_^ Had lunch with my mom downtown then walked around the farmer's market near Horton Plaza. My mommy bought me some cherries that were yellow! They were both interesting and sweet. Afterwards, I went to the base to get a new DoD sticker for my car, so I can have military base access. Mine expired a few months ago. Went to the NEX afterwards just to window shop, then to Commisary to buy groceries, since I promised my roomies I would cook dinner for them. Afterwards, I got the great idea to pick up Anthony from his house and drop him off at work, so I didn't have to make a return drive south later on before going up to LA. There's a whole ironic story behind all this. We head up to Mira Mesa, to get boba and to pick up my last pay check from Newgen. It was surprisingly bigger than I had expected, but only because they had included my vacation pay. I didn't know part timers got this, but hey, I'm not one to complain about more money. Heex3. I dropped Anthony at his work in Clairemont. When I got home, I started on dinner while packing my clothes for my LA trip. Then I realized my cell phone was missing. I looked for the longest time. Anthony was already ready to be picked up from work, and I didn't even know! I had Margie pick up Anthony, because I was starting to stress about my phone. When they got back, Ant told me that he called his house, and my cell was there, since his mom heard it ringing from somewhere within the sofa. AIYA. This meant I had to go all the way back down south, before heading up to LA. I NEED my phone. We ate dinner real quick, then took off. Grabbed my phone from his house, and zoomed up to LA. On the way up, this Mustang GT convertible tried to race me. Of course, his car was more powerful, but I still took him out. I'm just a better freeway driver at that speed. Topping out at 120MPH, he was just barely catching up when he encountered a wall of cars, and had to brake really hard. I left him in my dust. This was on this stretch of the 5 freeway just before the boarder check. Afterwards, I cruised at around 80MPH and he finally caught up, passing me slowly with an embarrassed look on his face. Take that all you STANGS!!! That's twice already I've beat you on the freeway. I already know I have no power in acceleration, but I can outhandle and outdrive you anyday.
We get to the SHACK where I was suppose to meet a friend, but the venue was a restaurant type thing and the line was hella long(and this was for the guest list!). It was already almost 10pm, and they were going to stop honoring the guest list at 10:30. 20mins later, we still haven't moved a bit and Ant and I get restless. We ended up leaving, heading over to Matt's house. We pick up Matt to go clubbin' with us. Eventually, we end up in Anaheim to club Boogie. Yay! Second week in a row that I'm at this club. For a Thursday night, it was poppin!!! Ant bought us drinks at the club and we have a blast. Afterwards, I had to drop off Ant at his future girlfriend's apartment C******e. He was gonna stay there(maybe get some leg :-p jk!) and help her move on Friday(this was what originated the trip to LA). Bad directions had me driving around for friggin' half an hour! I was pissed..... Not a good first impression with me. I hate gettin' shady directions. But it's ok, I don't base things on first impressions. Its not fair to people, and Im usually a fair guy. So I had a nice drive back to Arcardia where Matt lives. Tired as fuck, I had to turn my music loud and sing along, just so I wouldn't fall asleep. I slept well on Matt's sofa.

FRIDAY
I wake up to trance music that Matt had going on his computer. What a way to wake up! I get up and start dancing around in his living room. ^_^ Quote Matt: "Damn, you have a lot of energy in the morning." Actually, if you know me, I'm not a morning person, its just the music that gets me happy. We have lunch with his friend Ryan. Originally, we were gonna eat at a Thai restaurant where Matt's ex-gf linda worked at, but we passed by a Hooters in the same area and ate there instead! I get boba at the Boba World in that area. I remember because only two weeks ago, I was just there with Joe. We see Mr. Deeds at an independent movie complex in Monrovia called the Krikorian. I thought that was a weird name, but the place was really nice, like an upscale AMC. The movie was ok, comedy romance. We head back to Matt's house and he persuades Linda to drop by after her work. So I finally met her in person. Funny because I've always heard Matt talking to her on the phone, and what I hear and imagine is actually more entertaining when seen live in person! Matt makes her take us to the local Kragen auto parts, to buy some octane boost for our cars. When we get back, we pout the stuff in, then head over to LACR(Los Angeles County Raceway) after picking up Matt's friend Ebon. The drive to Palmdale was easy, but long. It took us an hour, racing in our sports cars from speeds up to 100MPH. Fun fun fun!!! (Most of the time, I speed cuz it's fun, not cuz I'm in a hurry) I dunno why I got dragged along. My car is super slow and heavy, but I guess I wanted to put a number behind how slow my car really is. The whole reason to going was cuz Matt drives an SS(super sport) V8 Camaro, friggin' 315hp compared to my inline4 140hp, friggin AUTOMATIC car, and he wanted to time his quarter mile. We get there around 9, and they were closing at 10. We had an hour to make our runs, but there were a shitload of cars, most imports! Matt got three runs in, two 15's, driven by him, and a 16 driven by his friend Ebon. I only got two runs in. I was so lost........... both as to what's suppose to happen and the procedure of things, AND to the other cars, for I knew my car is hella slow. Its kinda funny though that while waiting in line, people would approach me and ask me what my times were. I would explain to each one of them that this was my first time there, that my car SUCKS in speed, and that it only LOOKS really good. Also, that I was just there for fun, since the real reason for my visit was for my friend's SS. My first run was in the 18's for a quarter mile, against a V6 new Mitsubishi Eclipse. It was a given that I'd lose. My second run was against a Volkswagen GTI. I ran a 19.4 and he did a 17.9. Not bad, only a 1.5 sec differential. He shoulda really burned me though. I had fun, it was a good experience, and I would go again, only if I had a faster car! We were planning to go clubbin again that night, but we got lazy. Instead, we downed a decent amount of shots(Bacardi Limon and Absolut Citrus) and played Smash Brothers Melee on Nintendo Game Cube. We got pretty tipsy, enough that we had to turn down the difficultly of the computers who were whooping us pretty bad.

SATURDAY
We were suppose to meet Ant and C******e at Chinatown at 11am, but that didn't happen. First, Matt decided not to come along, because he had to get ready, since he was heading back to SD later that day with his fam. I didn't even get to leave until around 1130. Call it good timing, or just plain Filipino time, but Ant, C******e, and I all got to Chinatown at almost the same time! We were only separated by less than 2 minutes from arriving there, and we knew since we kept in touch via cell phone. We parked and walked to grub, since Ant and C******e were hungry. I buy boba at Tenren's. The drink sucked but the boba was good. They end up decided to eat at a Pho place. I didn't have anything but bread because Matt's parents bought me Jack in the Box before I left. How cool is that!? I leave the two love birds to enjoy their meal and do a little shopping on my own. I end up buying a colapseable sword, a chinese cap with the braided hair extension, some fireworks, and a necklace with a peace pendant(in Chinese symbol, of course). I pretty much get everything I want, except for what I really came for, a Chinese outfit/suit. After they eat, we go to look for one. We got places to offer it as low as $20. I end up getting a black one with a silver dragon design. It's really nice, and we all plan to wear our outfits at the rave in LA next Saturday. We also bought hats to match. We're gonna be breaking necks next Sat!!!!! Hopefully, we can come up with a routine before then. The drive back to SD sucked, since the freewats were congested. I had heard the way to Las Vegas is closed, due to fire, so I guess people came down to gamble at our local casinos instead. I make a quick stop at my apt then head to my home in Paradise Hills. After dinner with the fam, we all head over to Viejas!!! It was nice cuz I knew Matt and his fam were gonna be there too, since they planned to go earlier that day. I didn't do too well at Viejas, lost a couple hundred, but it was nice to be there with family and friends. I had really enjoyed myself this past few days. It was a perfect balance of everything. Just the way I would like to spend what little vacation time I do have, since summer school starts this week.

SUNDAY
Today was simple. Just went to church, ate lunch with the fam, napped all afternoon, and worked all night. Sadly though, my parents came to visit me at work, and basically tell me I have to quit working at Quickly. They didn't like me working so late at night, with our store being the only one open at such a late hour. I know its negative thinking, but its thoughts of reality. They figure 7 an hr is not worth my life, in case we get robbed and I get killed or something. I guess they're right. I don't wanna quit, but it's a commandent not to disobey your parents. Instead of actually quitting, I told Minh, one of the owners also in charge of scheduling and all that good stuff, what the situation really is, and how my parents feel. He was really understanding. I asked him if he could incorporate me into an afternoon shift instead, and that I can't work the night shifts anymore. I know this probably won't work out for a little while, but on the lighter side, I get the first signs of spoils from my parents tonight. Normally, they dont' do much to spoil me, I have to pay for everything non-essential. Hell, I even pay for my own rent!!! I'm the only child, I should be spoiled! But no, I'm not. Anyways, today, they offer to pay for my rent and utilities, and give me spending money, but.... they want me to stop working nights. What can I say. What can I say.... I have a day to spend before summer school starts, technically tomorrow on Tuesday. Yay, I can't wait. Hardi har har. I love classes. *rolls eyes* Well, that's it for now. Surprisingly, I'm still not sleepy. Tired, but not sleepy. Oh well.

Anyways, to the few that actually do read this, it was a lot wasn't it!?!? Sorry, but I want to be able to look back at what I've actually done, and what happened to me, so I'm particular to detail. This is me expressing myself! So yeah *runs around in his birthday suit, jumping up and down* :-p Take care y'all and God bless.
