7th/Seventh straight night in a row......
S'been a tough week. Had a couple midterms but now they're in my bag. *whew* Been really tired and slow this past week. I dunno why really, just feeling kinda chill. Hasn't been a night since last Friday where I wasn't somewhat incapicitated or non-sober. Hehehe. S'ok to splurge and abuse myself, once in a while. Hah, jk! =P I'm just going through a phase, I guess. Well, I'm glad this week is coming to an end. Next week, I have a midterm paper, then a midterm the week following, then another Phil 10 midterm the week after that. I swear, I turn around and it's friggin' week 4. WTF. Stupid quarter system. Well, it's time to unload and unwind, my weekend is finally here. Hooray!

Easter Sunday was WHOA. Somehow got up from the night before, which included lotsa beer pong and a midnight run to Tapioca Express. Transportation graciously provided by Joseph Chu, who was repaid with a nice cup of boba bought by my druken ass. Saw a few APO heads there and was a little embarassed. I was pretty damn drunk, hehe.

So I somehow wake up for mass at 10am, which was so packed that you wonder where the rest of these people are during non-holidays. Ate a nice lunch with family and relatives at a relative's house in Rancho Bernardo. Then got back in time to go with my roomies over to the cliffs. Upon arrival, there were already a good amount of people, but as 4:20 approached, the number of people tripled. It was so cool. The experience and feeling is hard to describe with words. From then til I fell asleep at night, there wasn't a single moment of soberness =) Hey, I can afford a day of totall getting messed up! I DESERVE it! So what I had a midterm the very next day (today).

Well anyways, I woke up early today to actually study for that midterm, which I didn't study much for. I felt I would kick its ass already. Got a quick lunch with Eugene then studied some more at school, only to rape the midterm into shreds =) It WAS easy, and I was just worried cuz I dunno, its a test and its worth a grade. I shouldn't have worried. Sometimes I worry TOO much. So yeah, all worked out well. Hopin' to see a good grade this thursday when they're posted. =)

Get to work from home today. My boss is leaving for Brazil tomorrow, so I promised I'd take care of a few things for her while she's gone. Gotta keep the business goin! Right!? =D But first, I gotta get a copy of Excel. My stupid computer sucks for not having that. Peace (^_^) \\//

6 hours til BOBA, wooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

20030419

I missed my brothers.

BETTER LUCK TOMORROW was awesome!!! You may leave with a little mind-fuck, but that's ok, just means the movie was really good. =)

20030417

I'm tired.... What the hell is wrong with me?

20030415

You are who you are. And what you do, is always up to you.
I'm disappointed, and confused, and mind-boggled as to what was done...

This has been another crazy weekend. Dang, they seem to come back to back now! Hehe, but I don't mind. Friday was spent drinking with the roomies then going bowling. Tried not to really stay out late, since I had a field trip Saturday from 8am-5pm, but whatever. Plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead! Had that stupid mandatory field trip to Anza Borrego for Earth Sci 12. We look at boring rocks in the stupid desert and got all dusty and stuff. Good thing the sun wasn't out that day or we would've burned up like a mofo. Sat night was spent partying at some massive party in PB then following it up at my roomies' friend's place closer to home. Got up early again for the Palm sunday mass, ate with the fam at yummy yummy Kanpai, then went to Viejas. Pressed my luck TOO hard so I only pulled away with $50, which I used to pay for my activation fees. Yes, it's true. I crossed over!!! Woohoo!!! I'm finally active status for Alpha Phi Omega. Honestly, I wasn't that excited, but I was stoked once it was underway. The GBM took forever afterwards, because of elections. We took a plethora of pictures! My big didn't have my letters for me, but s'ok, I'm sure he'll get them soon. Ate at TGIF's afterwards, then continued the night at Daniel's place. Finally got home shortly ago, but I'm screwed for tomorrow. Got work at 9am and I didn't get any of my hw done. As joannie would say, booooo! Two thumbs down for me. But hey, s'all good. How often am I gonna cross over for a frat!?! I'm really proud, not just of myself, but of my fellow brothers too. Congrats everyone. =) *sigh* I'm gonna miss being a pledge.... SYKE!!!

It never ceases to amaze me how much people can change, or not change...

Deng, I've been procrastinating a lot lately, but it's ok. I've been having fun, and I miss the good times I had just chillin' with friends, or playing video games with roomies(or ex-roomies). I forget how short life is sometimes, and how sometimes I should not take it too seroiusly. Our priest this past Sunday had the greatest homily, which he based off Tiger Wood's golf swing. It's just like life, if you hold the club too loosely, it flies out your hands. If you hold it too tightly, your muscles tighten and you don't get the best out of your swing. Like life, it requires a balance, then the perfect "swing" should be the end result. Cuz honestly, if tomorrow I step out into the street and get hit by a semi (yes, I know I always say that), where did my life go? It's all about balance......
Seriously, I LOVE Mondays!!!

(seriously, that was so full of sarcasm)

Friday night partying: $15
Saturday night partying: $10
Getting fucked up and having fun with the homies and bitches: Priceless....

So. I'm bored now cuz I just got home. Everyone's asleep. Boo to that. Awww, I'm starting to sound like Joannie. Well, in any case, I don't have to get up 'til later since my first class is at 1, and I requested that i work at 230 instead of 9am. Yay, I like my new job, cuz it's fairly simple and I get decent pay, and I like my employer, cuz she's cool and she understands the college student hardships. I can honestly say that this has been a good week. It seems longer than a normal week, but maybe that's just cuz I've been getting up earlier and getting more shit done. I've been to every class(all 4 of them, my FIRST time taking 4 in one qrt), am caught up with all homework and readings for this week, and haven't really missed much on things I need to attend. Been working too, as well as visiting and spending time with people I don't really get to chill with much. AND I've been going to RIMAC consisently! In fact, I'm sore as fuck right now. Errr, it's hard just to even put my backpack on or take off my jacket. Also, I somehow found some time to bring my lola lunch on Tuesday and eat lunch with my mom. Wow, I'm seriously hoping and praying that I can keep this up. At this rate, things might just finally go my way. I'm so excited! Heeheeheeheehee.

Cooked a lovely dinner at Joe's place today. Thanks mom and lola for the recipe. We had SO MUCH food, in fact, we didn't even get to cook all of it! Then we played Hold 'em poker on Yahoo, after being inspired by the Texas Hold 'em poker tourneys they're showing on the travel channel. Afterwards, I busted open a can of whoop-ass in tekken 4 and tekken tag. Sorry Geoff, sorry Joe, but it's hard to stop me when I'm in my element. :-p Tomorrow is a less heavy day, just the way I like my Fridays! Got one class from 1-150 then work from 230-530. Afterwards, I should catch up on my studies, then party-hardy at night. Yup, sounds like a plan.

As for spring break, it was fuckin' awesome!!! It was a perfectly balanced week. It's good to note that Eugene my roomie was with me for the whole thing. I took him under my wing so he wouldn't be left alone in the house. Unfortunately, he had no means of going back home to Sacramento, and on top of that, his car is OOC, out of commission. For the first half, we stayed at my parents house, taking advantage of the free meals and at the same time, taking care of my lola, who needed to fulfill a plethora of doctor appointments that week. Good timing, I was around to help. Sunday night of the weekend after finals, we go to Viejas and try our luck. My family loves to go to the casino occassionally. So poor me, didn't wanna spend much, cuz I already had little to no money for Spring Break, and we had plans to go to Rosarito and LA for the latter part of break. I guess it was my lucky night, since God answered my prayers. That night, my mom hit TWO 3 card poker jackpots, straight flushes, which pay 40-1. At $10, that's 400+. So my mom hands me a little money to try my luck, insisting that I was her son and that the luck was running high with us that night. So I too sit down at the 3-card poker table. After a few hands, the first card I see for my deal of 3 cards was an Ace. When I have an ace, I normally don't look at the other two cards. So, like usual, I didn't look and just set the cards down with my play bet. My mom kept insisting that this is it, my lucky break. 3 aces, would be the second highest jackpot payout, at 30-1, a three of a kind. 3 aces is also known as bullets, so my mom said "3 bullets for Saddam Hussein!!!" Hehe, silly mommy. But, low and behold, when it came time to flip my cards, the dealer flipped em, and WHOOOOAAAA, three aces!!! I had a nice $10 bet which paid me 300+ HOORAY. I was happy, my mom was gloating "I told you so," the dealer was happy he's getting a decent tip from me, and the people sitting next to us were "happy" (note the quotes) since my mom and I just won 3 jackpot hands within the last hour and the same table. Eugene shows a look of disbelief, in regards to me and my mom's luck.

Thursday was when we left for Rosarito. BUT, the night before, we picked two kittens, one of which is ours!!! It's SOO CUTE and affectionate. That's all I have to say about that. If you wanna see her, just come by. =) Rosarito was cool. We had 8 people in our group, which included, Milly, Tracy, Kim, and Joanne, then Neil, Daniel, Eugene, and I. We first had lobster in Puerto Nuevo. I had money SET ASIDE for this. I had plans to buy a $40 lobster!!! I was disappointed when they said their biggest was $25, but became excited again when they found out they had a $35 one!!! It was huge, HUGE I tell ya! Afterwards, we went around Rosarito, shopped, ROAD ATVs on the beach, and lit some fireworks. We went to Papa's and Beer hella early, chilled there, and played some truth or dare. We left just as the music changed and people started coming in. Oh well. We hit up club Iggy's afterwards and spent the rest of the night there 'til we went back home.

The weekend in LA was awesome too! Thanks to Joannie and her fam for the hospitality and food. Saturday afternoon was spent in Chinatown enjoying the city and shopping. Night was spent at UNION for Kim's birthday celebration. Brutha Mark drove up and somehow, Matt(who I thought was in Vegas) and the gang was there too! We had a blast, especially after I was DUI, Dancing Under the Influence! (Thanks brutha for the term!) Afterwards, we had some Denny's in Arcadia and didn't get back to Jo's til almost 6. The next day was spent recovering, but soon after, Eugene and I went to USC to watch my cousin and her PCN(pilipino culture night). It was seriously AWESOME. I was jealous of their dances and storyline, cuz it rocked compared to ours at UCSD. After the show, we ate at some chinese restaurant in Chinatown with Christine's PCN friends, got some boba at Tapioca Express(course mine was BOBALESS), then drove home in record time. To all you Ford Explorers out there, just remember, you're NOT sports cars. =D

*sigh* Thank God I'm finally gettin' my groove back, just like Stella! (:-p cheesy reference... movie: How Stella Got Her Groove Back)

I'm in for a long, long, LONG quarter. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!
