APSA High School Conference was tiring, long, but FUN. It was great to be a fa-silly-tator once again. The students were awesome. The workshops were informative. The performances rocked. The dance was great. The aftermath was E to the 3 baby!

Our Tagalog Presentation was awesome! It went extremely well. So well that it scares me, haha. And I thought I'd never dress up as a girl again. Yet, it somehow always comes back to haunt me. =-O The class loved it, and got a kick out of the fact I was in a French Maid outfit, playing the female role for our play. We did how the the Puno ng Saging (Banana Tree) came into existence, according to Philippine Legend. So yeah, now that that's done, I reallly don't have anything major to worry about until finals!

Last night was a good chill session at Marvin and Ryan's place. It was Marvin's 21st yesterday. I had a few drinks and played a lot of Halo on the Xbox. Adrian made everybody hella good mudslides!!! Slept at around 2am. Now, I dunno what I'm doing, nor do I have a plan for today :-\ Oh well..... It's just one of those days!

Just has the most pleasant evening I've had in a while. Drove up with friends and roommates, particularly Alex, Hank, Mollie, Ryan and Lauren to Mt. Palomar, to see the meteor shower. I have to say, it was "totally awesome!" The sky was perfect, the moon was full, the stars were so bright, and the air was so fresh. It was a nice drive. Lotsa curves in the roads for my car and I to tackle. It was well worth going out there...

As for other things, our Tagalog Presentation is to be done very soon. It was suppose to be on Friday, but stupid Nathalie has a concert to go to, so we have to sacrifice and work hard to get it done in class this Wednesday. It's completley possible, just very clutch. Finally got to work out today, but I dunno, I felt so weak. Missed LIGN 101 again, just cuz I didn't feel like going. I went to the Language Lab instead and did some tagalog listening. Hit up hip hop class, then the gym. Got dinner for Nath and Ryan, and worked on the project. Then we rolled out to Palomar. =)

The last weekend was aight too. Went to Victor's Resort with Mark and members of his Ascension team. Hotties, if I may say so myself. It was Mark's first time there, due to previous unmentionable incidents. We had a blast. We topped that night off with a chill session at my pad, and smoked out of the roomies' hookah for the first time. Slept in on Sat then went fishing with the fam. Then it was a late night movie with Ant: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Awesome movie, btw. Sun was typical, church, then lunch at Hometown Buffet. Afterwards, a nice nap at the pad after I read the Tagalog Legends book. The fam went to the new casino Harrah's. Cooked for my group and started on the project that night. Got a good amount done. Late night, I did my stupid homework. Didn't sleep til late......

Future goals:

Whoa, havent blogged in so long. Then again, havent really been on my comp for extended periods of time since last week. Just a few updates, the midterm went well, just hopin' I got a good grade. My long weekend was awesome. Went home and got some lovely home cooking!!! And for three days straight, went fishing at Embargadero near Seaport. Caught some fishies, which I thought was totally great. I used to go fishing a lot with my family during my younger years, and I missed the feeling of pulling up dem fishes out of the water, then later, cooking and eating em! HELL YEAH! :-p Well, all that time waiting for fish to bite gave me time to contemplate my life, and put certain aspects of it into perspective. It was time well spent, in my opinion. As for this week, it was hella shortened, but God willing, I caught up with my school and studies, registered for classes next quarter, and took care of a lot of unfinished business. Good to say that I have Mondays and Fridays off again next quarter. But damn, haven't worked out in a while, I think I'll hit it up tomorrow before class. I miss the feeling already. So yea, until next time.

OMG, stessin' like a mofo. I hate midterms. I hate tests. I hate when things JUST GO WRONG. AHHHHH!!!!
