Here at home, our apartment, it's like "a little family," like my roomie Luis phrased it. Everyone knows everyone, since our good friend Janet took the place of the Russian Outcast Nina. It's so cool!!! I love having such cool roommates. Too bad our lease expires on the 31st of next month.....
This past weekend has been crazy. Never really had much plan to begin with, but hey, when you're on vacation, anything goes. So Friday night, I fell asleep on the couch with nothing in mind for an outing. My friend Jeff asks me if I want to grab dinner with them, so I go. On the way, my best friend/roomie Margie calls me and suggests to go to LA. The weirdest thing.... At the time the song "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne was playing and it reminded me of Cicely, who for a while had the chorus of the song on her AIM profile. Earlier that day, I was talking to her and got her number, in hopes of visiting her when in the Anaheim area. She also mentioned she was gonna go clubbin' that night. We managed to do some last minute planning and meet up in Orange County, and head over to a club called "The Boogie." Margie picks me up from the restaurant, head home real quick to change and wait for our friend Ryan, then run our butts over to OC at 11ish. Around 12ish, only less than an hour later, we arrive. Yes, I was hauling ass, doing 80-100 MPH all the way up! But then again, I'm always hauling "ass" when I drive, no pun intended! We pick up Sis, and only a 5 minute drive later, we hit the club. Had to use the valet because there was no parking. Weird was everyone somehow obtained a free cover pass, besides me. Its all good, because I had fun. The club was unlike any San Diego club, jammed packed with a mixed crowd and multiple dance areas. It was great! Afterwards, we get some OC style Carne Asade Fries, which unfortunately doesn't compare to the CA Fries here. The drive home was easy too, and I knocked out upon arrival on my bed.
SATURDAY
Sucks for me cuz I had to get up butt early to go to my cousin Erren's wedding. Running on empty, and only a few hours of sleep, I head over to St. Rose of Lima's in Chula Vista. I had to proxy for my dad who couldn't be there because of work(at the Post Offfice) as one of the sponsors. Everyone looked good and was dressed nice! Sometimes, it's nice seeing family memebers and relatives all "G-ed" up. The wedding was cool, but being tired I nodded off here and there. The reception was at the Holiday Inn by the Harbor. The food and drinks were good. Here, everyone got super emotional especially when the speeches were made. My cousin Edsel is always the best at this, since he's not too good at speeches, but he tried hard, and was really emotional about it. Somewhere in there though, I still found the time to nod off. LOL. Having to leave early, I had to go to church, for I had plans later that night and didn't want to wake up early the next morning for church. I sang with the choir but again, still managed to find some time to nod off! Deri's Eagle court off honor succeeded the mass. It was a good ceremony, and I ate a lot at the reception for it. Hey, when you have plans to drink later, you gotta stock up!
SATURDAY NIGHT
So the previous night, I had made plans with Cicely to go to Mexico. We originally planned to go to Rosarito for the evening. She was driving down with a few friends. I had also asked some of my friends if they wanted to go. The meet up spot was at my apartment. Eventually, we had a final group of 11: Cicely and her friends Florence, Lisa, and Lisa's BF Vince, Margie, Margie's friends Leanne and May, Mark, Anthony, Joe, and myself. We took two cars, the QX4 and a civic. Amazingly enough, we somehow all met before 11pm at my place and left at around 11. By 1130, we were already on the way to TJ in a Taxi. Yes, I said TJ. Rosarito got cancelled because they said it was not poppin' and for some weird reason, we decided to cram 11 people + 1 driver into a small cab. How we did it? I don't really know the answer! We hit up club Mystre E (the top of Safari's) which was cool. One cover, all you can drink all night. I was having a really good time until some Assholes decide to start trouble, after we cock-blocked for a few of the females in our group. The fuckers wouldn't fuck off, askin "what the fuck" or "what the hell's our problem?" Mark and I pretended to be really drunk and ignored their asses, but they still wouldn't let it fo. What's our problem!? YOU GUYS!!! Fuck off! I swear I was ready to fuckin' throw down cuz one of their homies was already taking his shirt off. And there was this scrawny little white guy trying to act all hard just cuz all his friends were big. Mutha Fucka, you would go down first, then your friends would follow. I was already warning Anthony to get our backs if anything happened, am I sure Joe and our new friend Vince wouldn't have hesitated to beat some ass if it had come to that. Luckily, Margie and Cicely noticed what was going on, came out and told the fuckers off. Kinda ironic that 3 big guys(and one little one) was told off by two small Asian chicks! LOL. Good they saved us from getting in trouble. Alcohol gives you a new found confidence and anything was possible at that time. ~Liquid Courage~ Also weird that my roommate Luis ended up not going, because if he was there, he wouldn't for one second hesitate at all to throw the first punch. He's an agressive drunk(and a strong one) when he's loaded. My vibe for the night was ruined, and I tried to make the best of the rest of the night. *sigh* Imma let it go now... We stayed until 3am then headed back to the border in two Taxi's. Cicely was pretty wasted out of everyone in the group. I won't start with her stories. ^_^ We had to drop off Leanne and May, then we headed to Keith's in National City for some grub. We all drove to Cicely's apartment which was not too far from ours, and were they all stayed for the night. My friends followed me, since I was driving their car, picked me up after dropping them off, and we headed home. I have to admit, it was fun, and we all had a blast. As much as I can, I try to stay positive about things, because I'm usually a positive person. I don't feel it's worth using energy, both physical and mental, on negativity. But I know that deep within me, when push comes to shove, I wouldn't be afraid to do what I have to. I'm just thankful I have really good friends who look out for me and each other, and although I don't have any brothers or sisters, I can find what I've missed in siblings in my friends. They watch out for me and each other, always looking out for the other's back. This was proven this past night. I don't doubt it anymore. Thank you God for blessing me so........

So today was my last day at Newgen. I miraculously woke up early and bought fresh krispy kreme donuts as sort of a farewell thing for my reservations team at work. Its gonna be kinda weird never having to get up at 6 or 7 am in the morning every weekday anymore, but hey, life goes on. No more big ballin' and rollin' in dough for me. Its alright, now I get to sleep in, concentrate on studies more, and work at Quickly's, sort of like my dream job.
Summer school is just around the corner. I need a vacation......

Anyways, its been quite a weekend. I ended up go to THREE masses. One wedding mass on Saturday for my cousin, one mass I had to lector for yesterday for the 830am mass, and the 10am mass with my family, which i usher for, and also because its fathers day! *SIGH!* Holy, am I. :-Þ Grabbed some good lunch at Kanpai Japanese restaurant afterwards in Chula Vista for a Father's day thingamajig.
Tommorow, another day at old work(its my last week), then Morse's Graduation, then work at Quickly's again. Hey, its summer time, I can afford to work more ^_^ On a lighter note, TJ was extremely fun on Friday. Didn't get home til 7am! Only slept for a couple hrs too becuz I had to drive home for the wedding. One "brutha" was missin but its alright, we'll be complete next time. For this trip though, it was me, Ryo, Joe C, Anthony, Matt, Tone, Judy, Nancy and Cicely(her first time! TJ virgin, hehe) Hopefully, the summer will provide for more such gallivanting!
Well, I guess I'll continue this tomorrow. I remember how tired I was. *yawn* Good night. Dream sweetly.
